Project brief
A five-person engineering project reproducing part of an automated production line. The objective was to design a gripper and conveyor system able to handle fragile objects, using eggs as the initial test case.

Mechanical system
The team assembled a vacuum gripper connected to a pump and designed conveyor prototypes for moving objects and their boxes through the robot cell.

Electronics and control
An Arduino-based joystick circuit was developed to control the solenoid valve and conveyor. The industrial robot could be operated from its teaching pendant and from a computer.

Outcome
The project demonstrated object pickup with the vacuum system and validated the main electrical control circuit, while identifying the remaining mechanical integration work for a complete autonomous line.
